@jazzagold yep. misgendering, negligent medical care / withholding HRT, failure to keep patient confidentiality, ignoring sexual assault

@sarahjeong All of those things happen to people in detention PERIOD, assume it is worse for trans* heck ALL LGBTI folk.

@jazzagold yes. it’s amplified in the LGBTI context, plus trans* people slip through the cracks bc inadequate framework to “deal” with them

@sarahjeong I am glad she was able to go public and she's gotten a signal boost, but I shudder to think of folks without support.
