But really though sometimes laypeople get superstoked about lawyers, why else do so many people read

@TyreJim I think it’s a combination of heavy majority of HLS students going to big firms + 3L burnt-out bitterness -
@sarahjeong I suppose that's true. When I was a 3L back in the Stone Age, I was much more interested in my clerking job than in classes. -
@TyreJim I think a lot of these students are really concerned about the state of legal profession re: big law firms, idk -
@sarahjeong So don't go to BigLaw. I passed on that opportunity, and never regretted it. -
@TyreJim I agree. There’s a huge expectation here to go there, though. It’s a toxic part of the HLS culture. -
@sarahjeong When the senior partner of the small firm I started with passed, this award was named after him. 1/2 -
