In 2013 I read this “legal” analysis of bitcoin and it was garbage but I *had* to take it seriously bc there weren’t very many out there.

It was a grim time, with lots of internet experts unable to differentiate between the Federal Reserve and FinCEN.

I collected sources for my Bitcoin paper for months. In the last month, my bibliography exploded exponentially.

Now there are so many sources that I can’t keep up with them. For a while I had a near-exhaustive collection.

But pre-tipping point it was just a horrible time. Bunch of people who understood BTC who were optimistic to neutral. But the skeptics...
