@jazzagold @OBEYshiba if things suck already, why not take the chance, etc. but it's still a risk and the whole system is in a bad place

@jazzagold@OBEYshiba Oh it's because I'm picky. I didn't want to do corporate in New York, I'm green card so I'm disqualified from fed gov -
@jazzagold@OBEYshiba Those two sectors are like the vast majority of post grad jobs. Plus I have Opinions and this makes things hard. -
@sarahjeong@OBEYshiba I went non-profit, but that was a luxury cos I don't have debt ^^ -
@jazzagold@OBEYshiba HLS has great loan repayment for nonprofit. So I have that luxury too, I'm just looking in a very narrow wedge of NP. -

@jazzagold@sarahjeong i'm terrified of the debt. almost definitely means i end up at a lower-ranked school than i could otherwise attend.
