Okay, bitcoin/cryptocurrency question: how would anyone find out how much of calculated volume of trade is “real” transactions?
It seems like people moving money between their wallets and/or using laundry services would get calculated into volume of trade.

Or intermediary steps, like seller wallet —> exchange wallet —> purchaser’s wallet. So that transaction gets double-counted.

@sarahjeong you could use crowdsourced databases like http://blockchain.info 's to subtract out known wallet/exchange accounts -
That’s actually quite a good idea. Would correct for some of it, then would be interesting to see how big a difference it makes.
