My line used to be “Bitcoin could evolve into something different” but now we call forks and alt implementations *different currencies*
So I guess my line is now that Bitcoin is an alpha, and these alts are going to proliferate until one sticks in the right way.

It’s weird, but early on I identified a non-speculative pattern of usage based on having a stake in “internet culture.”
