Ugh when instructors at any level go "but what about the learning" in response to on-campus action. YES. IT SHOULD BE ABOUT LEARNING.
I hate that stupid viral e-mail by that math lecturer at Cal. I don't take lessons in morality from someone who crosses picket lines.
