@sarahjeong (I’m not libertarian) There’s no one forcing them to work for BART. I’m just not sympathetic given what they make & the demands. -

@nimbusgo@sarahjeong They have a monopoly that shuts down an entire city. Factory unions at least have to consider effect on the business. -
@scottgonyea@sarahjeong So how come they get paid so much less than many of the people that they bring to work? -
@scottgonyea@sarahjeong with all this business in the bay, why should they not get a piece of something they facilitate? -
@nimbusgo@sarahjeong the fare increases only shut more people out of SF. And again, their pay is great given the skillet.
