My in-laws used to live in Northern Idaho where there are moose a-plenty. I watched one in the neighborhood once easily stepping over 6-foot fences and drinking out of gutters without stretching or bending in any way. They are ENORMOUS.

i believe they’re technically megafauna!! there is a picture of 4 year old me next to a moose on the way to Calgary and i barely come up to its knee, they’re absolutely massive. and they’re not gentle giants either they will kick your ass
