    We need to teach labor history in schools

    More companies should just buy a bunch of land somewhere and build company towns. Pay people to move five minutes from the office. Reap the employee satisfaction.

    awful news. bill was one of those behind the scenes trek people who kept the flame alive in ways most never know. and he was always so kind to everyone. RIP.

    Some of you are aware those of us that have the privilege to work on Star Trek lost Bill Burke, who passed suddenly and unexpectedly this week. To say this has been crushing is a massive understatement.

    Gotta wonder if most people had a local primary care doctor they saw regularly and for free and who cared for them and their family over the years, and then *that* person, who they knew and trusted said “hey you should get the vaccine, it works & is safe” if rates would be higher

    thanks to everyone who reached out to check in on me. it means more than i can say. everyone asked "are you ok," and to that i can easily say yes. obviously, it is a huge change, but as it says in the statement, it was mutual, and i look forward to reading many great oni books <3
