    New: The White House is demanding new emergency Covid funding when some cities and states have big surpluses of stimulus money they could give back. Some cities have used the Covid $$ on things like green energy and immigration programs -- not the virus.

    What was the CDC doing for all the previous months then?

    New: the TSA and CDC will extend the mask rule for airline, rail and other travel by another month, through to April 18, per sources. CDC will use the month to review how and when to ease or eliminate the rule.

    The day New Jersey Gov. Murphy put the school mask mandate in place, about 7 people per day were dying of Covid in NJ. The day he announced an end to the mandate, 78 people per day were dying. But the decision totally wasn't based on public opinion.
