There is no legitimate reason for any school in the US to have a single covid “mitigation” in place this school year other than “stay home when you’re sick.”

This message is being subverted today. Today’s girls aren’t being told they are beautiful… no matter what they say… words can’t bring you down. Nope. Instead, today’s girls are being told their discomfort, their confusion, means they are not girls or women after all.

Video by India Arie keeps popping up on my Spotify. It’s not a coincidence. It’s a reminder of the female empowerment messages that got me through my own awkward, chubby teen years. Discomfort and lumps and bumps and (unwanted?) attention and uncertainty.

On internalized antisemitism: 10/2021, Jonah “Hill” begins filming #youpeople, a film that white-washes Jewish history and identity, downplays the Holocaust and promotes antisemitic tropes and conspiracies. 11/2022, Hill legally petitions to drop his real surname, Feldstein.

I’ve never been called a “Muslim-hater” before, for the obvious reason that I have no animus whatsoever towards muslims. But while it’s on my mind, let me use this opportunity to plug a memoir I just read by a muslim woman. I loved it (sent a copy to MIL for her book club too).

I haven’t written anything on my substack in months. What do people want to hear about from me? Personal stuff? Covid, or are we over it? What else?

Imagine thinking that and are somehow neutral or credible regarding Israel & Palestine 🤣 This is not helping your cause.

Let’s examine one of the GOP’s arguments yesterday: that criticism of US/Israeli gov’s role in the Palestinian human rights crisis, which orgs from @hrw to @amnesty are sounding the alarm on, is equivalent to antisemitism. It’s a dangerous conflation, and we must recognize that.

I was quiet here for a few weeks. Then, on the same day, I spoke with one friend whose 18yo daughter’s entire future was derailed by school closures, and another friend whose first-grader’s classmate got covid and was locked in his room by himself for a week.

Do all of you understand? When Palestinians and their supporters chant “Free Palestine from the river to the sea” they advocate destroying the entire state of Israel, which exists within that land. They don’t favor a two-state solution. They favor ending Israel and its Jews.

Look how this conflates wearing a mask while you’re sick (coughing/sneezy/snotty) with wearing a mask while perfectly healthy. These are two totally different things. Anyway, I signal respect for others’ well-being by smiling & saying hi.

Masks signal respect for others’ well-being.

Wearing a mask has also been associated with good etiquette for many people in Asia. It is common courtesy to wear a mask in public to prevent others from getting sick, especially because one never knows who around them might have weakened immune systems or live with someone who is vulnerable.

I didn't have my 🍆 "cut off" nor is there a "gaping hole" there. Penises & vaginas are pretty much the same thing. 1 is an inny 1 is an outy. 93% of the original organ was used to create a flawless & functional neo vagina. I have 0 regrets & I'm beyond happy with my beautiful 😽

Dear former friends who stopped talking to me because I said masks don’t work and nobody should be forced to wear them: I was right, and you were wrong. I won’t gloat (beyond this), and I accept apologies in the form of pinot. You know where to find me. 🍷

I thought the Left loved accountability! No?

This is a dangerous argument that members must reject. We can’t go down this road. No member of Congress should be removed from committee because of accusations of undermining a relationship with a foreign country. Members must maintain their independence on policy issues. twitter.com/VanityFair/sta…

when I think about sex-segregated bathrooms, I think about my 1st job at an amusement park when I was 15, when this random 30 year old man who worked in water quality knew I was planning to play in the park after work and asked if he could go with me. I didn't know how to say no.

This is a lie. The CDC says as of today there are 1,460 children with Covid listed anywhere on their death certificate, and for about a third of those, Covid is not listed as the underlying cause of death. cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr

2,000 dead kids, and 10s of 1000s hospitalized, was clearly not enough for a lot of folks in this country who would have preferred no protections whatsoever for our kids. twitter.com/benshapiro/sta…

Funny how the “expert” crowd that screamed about “anti-vaxxers” and “grandma killers” completely change their tune about moral failing when they get sick and have no idea how it could happen because they “did everything right”. 🤷‍♂️
Quote Tweet
The “ugh shut up about covid” crowd are all up in my mentions telling me not to blame myself & that getting COVID is not a moral failing. So let’s be clear: I don’t blame any individual for getting an infectious disease *ever*. Disease is *never* a moral failing. Full stop. twitter.com/EpiEllie/statu…
