    So many devastating losses this year....RBG was always fighting for justice, for women’s rights and for basic civil liberties for all until the very end. She paved the way for all women in this country and her legacy will live on. 😢

    I never learned about in my history classes. 2yrs after the Emancipation Proclamation, the last slaves were freed in Galveston, TX. Important to remember/celebrate this day as a critical part of US history & to still fight for racial equity & justice today

    Important thread on the grim and unjust reality for black men...

    A few months ago my dude was looking for a tote bag to carry some things to the post office. I gave the biggest bag I had which happened to be bright pink and red. He saw the bag and immediately asked for another one. When I asked why he just insisted on a different color bag.
