Although the Forum journey holds many, many lessons, the potential for transformative change is profound. 2000 more Commitments in the past year alone! I remain humbled and so grateful for the opportunity to join hands across the globe 🌎 on #GenerationEquality.

The Forum profiled the power of all actors coming together, United around concrete actions that can drive tangible change. Governments, Youth, Civil Society, Private Sector, philanthropy, International Organizations. This was and is the❤️ of #GenerationEquality 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

One year! The scale of profound ambition of #GenerationEquality remains an inspiration. As does the pathway it has set forward to accelerate concrete results on critical areas of women and girls’ rights. #GenerationEquality is all the more critical today.

Educating girls is one of the most powerful equalizers on the road to gender equality. This rapid curtailment of Afghan women and girls’ fundamental rights and freedoms is deeply concerning. Global demand is paramount to call for immediate return of all Afghan girls to schools.
