I use tabs as a to-do list, with priority work on the right, end of day stuff on the left, and pins for stuff I access repeatedly. So in my workday, I'll often have ~30 tabs open at a time, but I do work through them and close them by end of day.

Sounds like a good system! Do you use a to do list as well?

Haha. Good one
I did recently clean up maybe a hundred tabs, barely scratched the surface. History never really works, a single thought can cause opening closing of hundreds of links, the history is then trash. Tools to turn tabs into links just require extra organisation. -
Or open them all, explore, save what you need for later with a label, and then complete that task and close them all down. Whatever works for you, but honestly, focusing on one thing at a time can do a lot for your cognition

Well said, but without this habit I would never discover what happens at the tab counter when you have more than 99 tabs opened on Chrome mobilepic.twitter.com/P1Z2f6D9M6

This. Do you use the great suspender? I'm awful at tab management, but having something "park" tabs I haven't looked at in a while helps me focus on ones I need.

Haven’t heard of it! I’ll go check it out. Have had good luck with Pocket and someone pointed out that Notion has a chrome extension, so many great tools out there :)
