I had to regain sensation in my body before getting back on Twitter. I've been at @BuzzFeedNews for 8 years, so it's a shock to the system to see it go. My DMs are open if you're hiring. Mostly I just want to create a space to thank everyone who gave me a shot since 2015

I need a job.
My work has been impactful. It has influenced tech coverage, won a Mirror Award, and a fellowship at Harvard. Here are a few of my best stories.

In case it isn’t obvious, I’m looking for a new job after 10 years!
Please hire me! I’m very good at reporting the news, particularly investigation and finding people. I’ve produced definitive coverage on online extremism. Also, I write viral stories about the royal family.

this is so devastating. people told me i was committing “career suicide” when i left Bloomberg for BuzzFeed News in 2013. it ended up being the best decision - the place where I did some of my best work, made lifelong friends, and it helped me get to the NYT.

I had the honor to sit down this week with reporter ’s family. They’re amazingly strong. But they’re living through their worst nightmare: a son wrongfully imprisoned by the country they fled.
