Patents on medical treatments should be subject to eminent domain, and be confiscated, with some compensation, by the state when it is in the public's interest - besides, the development of such treatments is on the back of huge government infrastructure.

To be clear, you are saying ‘in the public’s short term interest.’ You are not considering the long term consequences.
-
oooh but treatment development is sooooo expensive, no one would do it without enooormous profit $$$ - Nonsense. mid term, maybe some restructuring issues, but long term - we'd have a new better phamaceutical industry .
-
Oooh, but corporations are sooo rich that there would be exactly the same amount of drug development if the profits were cut by 90%. This is fun! Dumb, but fun.

A taxfunded healthcare system would solve this. Your health shouldn't be decided before you even seen a doctor. Now there young girls should ofcourse be treated. It's the moral obligation of a nation to care for everyone. Noone likes taxes, but used right it save lives.

Wait. What? Don’t they have to stick to medical circa pre industrial revolution? Why is medical treatment exempt from their dumb ideology?
