Would be quite interesting to have Pinker, Peterson, Sam Harris, and Dawkins on the same platform.

Personally I would swap Dawkins for Bret Weinstein any day.
-
You're nuts. How are Weinstein's contributions to modern biology comparable to Dawkins'? No disrespect to Dr. Weinstein.
-
Well it's not about bio tho. I was judging them on the basis of their debating skills and who tends to provide a stronger form of argumentation. In that aspect BW I think is far better (Maybe even better than JBP).
-
Dawkins won’t throw himself into the anti-SJW rabbithole. Same goes to Pinker and Sam Harris. People that engage in those lame subjects do it because they crave attention and relevancy.
-
Aye mate, cuz BW almost gets himself kidnapped in evergreensc cuz he wasn't getting enough views on snapchat. Spot on!

-
That’s exactly my point. Weinstein and Peterson came to our attentiok because of some college SJWs not because of their groundbreaking work on biology and psychology.
-
Yes, I think this comes down to priorities and values. I'm much interested in a discussion among the aforementioned involving their various fields of expertise.

You both speak publicly, honestly, openly, in pursuit of the truth - that is uncommon and courageous right now. Philosophical differences there may be - but, even if big, they are nothing compared to the antagonists who say such conversations mustn't happen.
-
For one thing, Steven Pinker doesn’t create diagrams like this (below). Pinker also has a reputation built on academic and professional achievements, not YouTube views.pic.twitter.com/F5VKC56Tt3

What makes you think Peterson doesn’t have academic credibility? He has written many published papers in his field.

Those who compare two of you have probably never seen or heard one of you. Or both. You are the guy who explains stuff, he is a second hand car salesman kinda philosopher.

Would you be willing to have a discussion with one of
@AynRandInst ‘s intellectuals? You disagree on the means, but you share the same goal of human flourishing. I know no other philosophy as life-affirming as Objectivism.@yaronbrook -
Objectivism is for teenagers.

So funny reading the comments. I’m a fan of both thinkers but neither are my guru. The comments smack of a zealous form of tribalism we must do away with. Grow up people.

What's a P in-C?

Took me a minute, but I think he means Politically in-Correct. Next stop Bill Maher?
-
Haha but yeah I think that's it. Thanks!
