New York Times: Implement the serial comma (and banish the ugly "millenniiums" -- "millennia" is a lovely irregular plural).https://nyti.ms/2Bkl3Ym

May the Oxford comma live on for years, decades, and I dare say millennia.

Ignore the serial comma at your peril, to your certain embarrassment, at your own risk, on your own time, and so on, and so forth.

The Oxford comma is a good thing because it promotes clarity, any retro-formation of plurals is pedantic claptrap - English words need English plurals.

Yes, English can be weird. It can be understood through tough thorough thought though.

IT would appear that a comma is worth less, than the definition of "event" !

Oxford comma often unnecessary. However, if each of A, B, and C are not simple, how to parse can be nearly impossible to figure out. We have sat around a table for hours with a technical document and been stumped. Oxford comma also reduces risk of computer translation error.

All the other units of time have 's' for plural forms. Does it sound reasonable to retain 'milleniums' for sake of uniformity? Sounds weird to say seconds, years, ages, and then...millenia.
