It’s a pity it’s only one animal species we narcissistically want to improve the life of but not the beings we are equal to as biology proves that we unnecessarily eat creating poverty and global warming And we blindly wonder why we terrorize and hate each other are greedy evilpic.twitter.com/cwVD21u8xa

I have a question: Who is the arbiter of what is "good" behavior? I abandoned moral objectivism when I learned that there is a Papua New Guinean tribe where the rite of passage is: the adolescents have to drink the semen of the elders. These people grow up to be happy healthy

adults. Which is extremely counter-intuitive. Who are we to say that they should not be happy? Now, I will grant that they have completely abandoned rationality. But, I recognize that some people value happiness more than the truth. I don't share in this view. I think the truth

is more important than happiness, or even human survival. It is untrue that drinking an elder's semen grants value, but cannot claim that it is morally I corrupt if there is no harm being caused.

*I should note, that harm would be caused if people of their culture were exposed to Western culture and the stigmas present therein. Harm is only not being caused because of the lack of exposure. They see that behavior as a norm that has existed for many generations.
