I have no idea where you are in Ontario but that's definitely NOT the reality everywhere in Ontario nor in the whole of Canada. I can say for a fact that the health care where I live has never let me down and I've had some pretty serious surgeries in the last 2 years.
-
Lucky you. I, on the other hand, have witnessed the fraud that is "universal" health denial. I've got no ill will toward you brother. But give ear to those who weren't as lucky as you because, my fellow Ontarian, you were lucky.
-
I dunno about Ontario but in BC you can still pay for 5-star treatment. It’s a huge issue.
-
I don't have the expectation of a 5-star treatment. That you get at hotels for a lot of money. I only need humane treatment with caring, high-end technology without falling into bankruptcy. That I do get.

Per capita, there is not less violent crime, there’s less GUN crime. Big difference.
-
Anybody who thinks Canadians are less violent than Americans has never been to a minor hockey game. But no gun culture and reasonable gun control means it’s a pretty safe place
-
Try downtown Winnipeg. No guns, but there are knives.
-
Sure, and I’m in Winnipeg regularly. But there were a total of 25 homicides in 2016, in a city of 700,000. And Winnipeg is one of the worst cities for per capita murder if I’m not mistaken...in Canada. In US the worst cities of that size likely have hundreds of homicides

The Canadian corporate tax rate is 15% (the provincial rate is about 10%). Canada's international tax system is similar to the one that will be adopted under the U.S. tax reform. The reform is likely based on Canada's corporate & international tax system. Trudeau is not popular.
-
Trudeau is not popular? The polls suggest otherwise, and have been doing so for a while now.https://twitter.com/natnewswatch/status/943079183512670208 …

Better yet, we should all have a basic understanding of our monetary system so we can have a better understanding of where money comes from & the role of taxes in monetarily sovereign countries: http://neweconomicperspectives.org/2010/04/fed-chairman-ruml-got-it-right-in-1946.html …pic.twitter.com/Kj6j9ORLZD
