We are a constitutional republic FYI. Debate ended. #winbigly

This is outrageous. Anyone who watches
@RubinReport and follows libertarian "skeptics" like Shermer and@peterboghossian know that a small handful of college kids are the real danger to our democracy! -
Seriously, though, great article.

Although if immigration policy is vote rigging, then that also applies to Democrats given voting patterns. http://tino.us/2012/11/why-hispanics-are-natural-democrats-and-what-the-gop-can-do-about-it/ …

Libertarians are easy targets for everyone. Skepticism of big government = undermining democracy WOW. Not to mention outright falsehood in the article.
-
Arguing for small and decentralized government and pointing that average voter is irrational, is not undermining democracy.

So none of the evidence MacLean cites is credible but somehow the thesis is still true? Sorry, but not good enough

"libertarians generally think that voters tend to make a lot of bad decisions at the ballot box, constantly harming their own interests and violating basic rights" Leftist: Trump supporter voted against their interest !!

It's not "democracy" when the powers that be conspire to flood our country with foreigners who vote against us. Nobody wants mass immigration but the elites.
-
Wait didn't Trump just receive a permission to get 70 visa workers for Mar a Lago? What do you have to say about that?

There is an implication that "democracy" (as opposed to a constitutional republic, that protects minorities, which is what we are) is a good thing. Democracy is two wolves sitting down with a sheep deciding the menu.
-
A republic is a mixed government which includes democratic ideals and processes, i.e. the House and universal suffrage.
-
Also, the U.S. is a federal republic. Calling it a constitutional republic is cheap GOP propaganda intended to associate itself with the constitution.
-
You think that it's a bad thing to associate the U.S. with the Constitution? Fascinating.... Tell me more.
-
>cheap GOP propaganda intended to associate itself with the constitution. Did you eat paint chips as a kid?
-
Nope. But apparently you did. And are unfamiliar with history. Including Franklin's statement after the convention.
-
You fail at reading comprehension. It's the GOP that absurdly associates the constitution with itself, though it only cares about the second amendment.
-
I've read lots of stupid tweets, but that's right up there near the top.
