idealistic because physics/math/engineering say it CAN be done. The only problem: ignorance, greed and politics.

when process is 1000000x's more resource efficient, it can be truly transformational. Perhaps that is the problem.

a nuclear powered civilization run by robots would make most of us redundant. Maybe not such good idea!? Lol

No need for nuclear, oil, coal or gas when we've got that big bright thing in the sky.

Oh sure, got a few TRILLION dollars laying around? Gap for 100% RE is sooo far beyond its capability. Exh. A & B:pic.twitter.com/vEfLQI6SJV

Incorrect. All it takes is political will as renewables are already cheaper than nuclear and won't be long before THE cheapest

Cheaper?? Not even close. Nuclear by far cheaper as demonstrated above. RE only seem cheaper through ENORMOUS subsidies.

Subsidies for RE amount to energy welfare. We all pay for them as taxpayers thru Gov't incentives & ratepayers to Energy Co.

Soon won't need subsidies to generate interest as economies of scale will mean renewables cheaper than ALL other options.

Without understanding how reactors work they decided to instill fear in the general public about it.

ty 4 this article. Did not know about these types of nuclear reactors. Big problem is mainly liberal media.

Cashing in has nothing to do with saving the world. We've proven that nuclear can't be engineered to the point of being safe.

How have we "proved" nuclear can't be engineered to be safe? Is there epidemic of radiation sickness from accidents? @sapinker

It doesn't matter that you know the facts, or that the fear was manufactured. Nuke has been positioned.
