ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for trade school to regain its prestige. Less debt, more useful education.

trade schools are already more useful than some degrees, like gender studies.

Should teachers also "discuss opposing views of creationism and the holocaust"? Is straight lifestyle questioned in class?
-
Sure. Why not? Discussing certain views isn't the same as endorsing certain views.
-
So in a class with 1 non-white student it'd be ok 4 prof. to "discuss whether whites are superior to non-whites"?
-
in the context of a philosophical debate and the use of rhetoric yes it would.
-
Amazing how students dont also get asked to question if whites deserve rights, or straights
-
they should but that they do not doesn't invalidate the original point.

@Markgatiss something that has a valid opposing viewpoint. End of story. They wereright to be investigated. Playing Dev Adv (3) -
I think the point was for students to think for themselves & help understand the roots of opposing views & their own beliefs.
-
Again, someone's gender identity and my own human rights are not up for debate. Never again.

There's no point in having a generation of kids who can mouth support for 'progressive' causes if they can't defend >

Subject choice was questionable, as was university response

Entirely legitimate topic. Universities are infantilising their students.
