    Delighted that Paul Romer & Wm Nordhaus won the 2018 Nobel prize in economics. I've cited both, particularly Romer on the combinatorial vastness of ideas - a positive contribution of cognitive science to economics, not just the usual illusions & biases.https://on.mktw.net/2C6HTTA

        It's funny, because I once read on Paul Romer's site about the Nobel selection process itself. It has a lot to do with the lobbying from Big University. A Nobel increases prestige, annuities, donnations, etc. So the "Economics Nobel" has a lot to do with real Economics.
