Churchill, when asked why he was not a member of the Church of England: “I’m like a flying buttress-I support it from the outside.”

Nihilism rising and tribalism, anger, suicides, etc. No bueno.

Atheism is morally bankrupt.

Not having religion isn't the problem. Not having a solid foundation of morals and purpose IS a very big problem.

Oh no! I should’ve had more kids. But at least we always vote & our kids have turned out atheists too! Good to hear the trend is heading the right way

-
The right way? Right implying along some sort of moral progress? Strange thing for an atheist to say in their Godless worldview
-
Remember, there are many evil gods in the myths of superstitious folk, and the legends of the honoured gods include behaviour that is every bit as cruel and petty as the most flawed human. The gods are merely vestigial husks of the anthropomorphised wisdom of ignorant savages.

Beautifully put!

Is

I would prefer sharing a community with a christian over your standard SJW PC socialist cultist that thinks everything is about power that they need to win. I am saying the university have created a religion of destruction.

Steven, have you ever had a lucid dream? I mean, it's been scientifically proven that we can be conscious during sleep. I've spent the last 31 years being conscious in my own dreams. How about you?pic.twitter.com/ZFMGLcJ0ot

Younger people are identifying themselves as spiritual which isn’t always an improvement.
-
Exactly - they still yearn for spirituality, but secularists seem determined on undermining any kind of structure religion can offer them. Who’s to say the next set of religious practices is better having not been evolutionarily tested.
-
The psychological glitch is exercised differently. Passive spiritual beliefs where that adherent is still in touch with reality don’t concern me. Post modern beliefs are cause for concern. Two separate cathedrals model of modified religious systems can be a compromise.
-
My preference would be science, reason and humanism.
-
Science/ reason and theism are not mutually exclusive. You tall about them as if it's one or the other.
-
Theism does a horrible job of describing the world and how to best organize society.
