Outstanding article!! I think the main takeaway should be that no matter who writes the code, its still written by a human. Every coded program has its vulnerabilities, if not right now, in the future. Trusting something humans make is no different than trusting the human.

Doesn't Trust lie at the root of all Values and isn't it the quantum of Trust that defines success of Homo Sapiens vs other species?

@sapinker, the author had misplaced focus... he, like many others, misunderstand what we mean when we say blockchain removes trust. This is vaguely reminiscent of creationists claiming "that's why scientists still call it the THEORY of evolution!"Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Greater transparency, speed, efficiency, traceability, lower costs - the blockchain as a tool will increase the possibilities of human interaction (and government). Remember - it only has to better than the alternative (doesn’t need to be perfect).

Why does the author state Ethereum has fallen? Because the price is down?
