The antibiotic cycle should be continued untill the end, because bacteria can still be present after the patient feels better. if you dont do it, thats how resistance appears... bacteria that survives the exposition to antibiotic develop resistance.

My mom has a lung disease that weakens her health a bit, and whenever she is feeling slightly ill, she just calls her doctor and gets a new prescription of antibiotics sent to CVS straight away. She doesn't even get checked first. It's like clockwork. It's frustrating.
