Not sure about that. So many people in a city of millions can be so lonely. You can attend a festival and not recognize a single person all day long. In a small town of 2000, you would unintentionally see dozens of friendly faces of real friends every single day.

But by the same token, there's a certain degree of risk associated with that. If you make a mistake, everyone you know knows about it. Social anxiety could be bad either way.

Civilization can exist without cities, not without food. What's with this push to crowd everyone into the city?

What a reactionary pov, seriously, as if urbanisation is in any way sustainable.

Rural diversity is good for survival amidst unknown unforeseen dangers.....Cities have died in the past and are ecologically questionable?!

Correction Mr P. Sustainable cities. Outside a few in Scandinavia, most of our cities are doing more harm than good to inhabitants and the ecosystem over the long haul.

If only they didn't make me feel so horrible. I really hate being in most of them. I feel agitated and hostile after a short time. I don't feel like I can relax, and really, you shouldn't. Traffic is dangerous, and some sections are entirely avoided except by residents b/c crime.

Hay que tener cuidado. Pues suena a que quisiera entregarle la tierra a los latifundios y grandes capitales por encima de los campesinos y comunidades. Recordad que el 70% de la comida la producen campesinos y agricultura familiar. Mejor buscar equilibriohttps://elpais.com/elpais/2018/04/16/planeta_futuro/1523887469_688493.html …
