If standard of living, life expectancy, etc. were plotted on the graph of fossil usage at the bottom of this article, one would see that increased fossil fuel usage corresponds with increased standard of living, etc. We must be careful here.

That is so obvious. Of course fossil fuels raised ppls SoL, our entire global economy runs on fossil fuels so, duh. The issue is that the continuation of burning these fuels will result in an inhabitable Earth. We must be careful here.

It is not obvious to many and the benefits of fossil fuels to our daily lives are rarely mentioned in articles on climate change. Predictions of inhabitability and disaster have been made for decades. I’m not against cleaner energy. I’m against the rhetoric.

The permafrost methane release will cause more warming than if we were to burn all the fossil fuels. Just one of the many positive feedbackloops that the IPCC ignores. The only life we know will be annihilated because of the superior greed of the ashkenazi master race.

I want to know how we can prevent Fukushima type accidents here. I was almost on the nuke bandwagon until that happened.

#3. This ignores that the oil companies will just pass the tax on to the consumers. So this is redistribution, nothing else.

Productive criticism is good but the type of comment you've given is cancer to good policy making. Ad hominem is for trolls and people incapable of contributing to the common good.
