Where do you draw the line? Would it be okay to allow genocide in another society because it's "their culture"?

That's a strawman. You don't have to commit a genocide to prevent a genocide (I don't think there's a single historical example of that actually). Further genocide was prevented in Bosnia in 1995 if you want to see how it can be done

Okay, well you are prepared to allow atrocities to be committed on a people just for having the misfortune of being born in a culture that is considered too PC to "imperialize" then. I am not okay with that. By the way, do you also hold this standard to radical Christian groups?

E.g. are you okay with radical Christian groups in the US deciding to do things like deny medical treatments for their kids or force them into anti-gay therapy because it's their belief/culture?

This is most likely another piece of fake news from the Fake News "Pravda", the NYT.

You are familiar with the situation there? If it is real, then why nobody works with the village/community chiefs, elders? Why this superstition is not stop. It is most likely a recent deviance.

It is not recent. It has been happening for centuries now. The notion that menstruating girls are not pure is deeply ingrained in our religion. Our community is trying to get rid of this but it is not enough.

Which religion are talking about? Also, most of the deviant behavior is recent. Stupid masses put up with deviance. Stupid masses usually end in totalitarian structures, states, cults, where they are oppressed. And masses, "the proles", are not religious. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Nepal …

The religion I am talking about is Hinduism. Banishment from the home only happens in certain part of the country but women are not allowed in kitchen, temples etc when they are menstruating all over the country.

Orthodox Jews have the same thing in Israel. It is encouraged by the bureaucracy and propaganda. Some Jews force their women to shave their head. This is a total totalitarian cult sponsored by bureaucracy. Hinduism is also distorted. Casts should not be by birth but by ability.

Tragic indeed. Awareness to the issue is appreciated. But, it's easy to assume a moral high ground when coming from the West.

Do you have any scientific evidence on why we need anything? According to science we are just meaningless apes and nothing really matters so there is no such thing as #progress
