    Grand Strategy always seemed like the single douchiest thing at Yale, which is saying a lot.

    As a law student I took the Grand Strategy program at Yale. This was right after 9/11 and it made me uneasy, not least b/c of the amount of time we spent talking about the need to invade Iraq. This thread captures problems with the program that long pre-date the current scandal.

    Another once upon a time this lover of books wanted to endorse the big-dick-energy-named book The Hard Thing About Hard Things, which is by a white VC who likes to quote rap music. He liked this book so much he hurled it at me!
