Had the strangest TV interview with
@WIONews. Anchor spun strange theories of#China’s silence as somehow pertinent to attacks. And had Indian “expert” quoting a discredited news report https://twitter.com/ameenizzadeen/status/1119889084959404032?s=21 … as gospel. Actual journalism also victim of today’s attack.#lka

I know the natural inclination is to assert authority and expertise. But once it becomes an international point of interest we need interlocutors like Zeynep to help educate Americans who follow few if any Sri Lankans.
