Even if turns out that Trump himself was texting w Putin during the campaign to coordinate, and the pee tape is real, and POTUS and everyone in his family and campaign ends up behind bars, it will still all have been worth it for McConnell, the Mercers, Adelson and the GOP.

The winner of the 2020 election will most likely have the opportunity to appoint 2 SCOTUS Justices, if not 3. If Mr. Trump is re-elected, there will likely be a 7-2 majority opposed to women’s rights, voting rights, and equality for at least 15 yrs.

We now confront a test of whether the Democrats in the Senate will play hardball (as McConnell did with Garland) when nearly everything they care about deeply in terms of personal liberty, equality, and dignity is at stake for a generation or longer.

More than anything, the Senate will be voting on overturning Roe v Wade although almost everyone pushing for confirmation will pretend that's not what they're voting on even though they know it is.

I never thought I would live to see a day when the Supreme Court of the United States would again make a decision as inhumane as Dred Scott v. Sandford or Korematsu v. United States.

Despite our dormant, unethical, unmoral, unprofessional, inexperience, racist and failure of a leadership as a MUSLIM I still believe in the values of this country I still believe in it's ideals despite siding with this dotard administration.

It really is remarkable how undemocratic American political institutions are. Republicans have only won the popular vote once since the 1988 presidential election and now they'll control the Supreme Court for a generation

Not to go all , but CBP really does run detention centers called “ice-boxes” that basically no one has *any* access to. They are the site of much alleged mistreatment and abuse and the only photos we have are from a 2016 lawsuit.

The modern Republican project has been to return us to the Gilded Age, to a time before the Progressive, New Deal, and Great Society expansions of state power on behalf of workers and citizens. Janus is one way to see this clearly.

Let me know how civil it was when Trump supporters threatened to rape my daughter. Because let me tell you something, I will never, ever, ever fucking let that go. I will never forgive or forget that. And I know the people responsible, and my vengeance will never, ever end.
