As a 1/2 Brazilian 1/2 American raised in the US, I always noted the differences in families there & here. How distant kids are from their parents. How little kids spoke to their parents about sex & love & things adolescents need to talk about. My friends would hang at my house

And talk to my (Brazilian) mom about those topics because they couldn’t with their own white American parents. To American culture, u could say my mom was “too nosy” or “too open” but, that’s how Brazilians are. Which, in this case of preventing Incel behavior, is probably good.
