By refusing to seat Adam Schiff, Eric Swalwell and Ilhan Omar on their committees while seating compulsive liar and conman George Santos and bowing and scraping to compulsive liar and conman Donald Trump, Kevin McCarthy has shown America exactly what he believes in: nothing.

The real hero from this last week is this woman: Cheryl Johnson, the second Black person to ever be the Clerk of the House. She oversaw the entire Republican circus with nothing but dignity, composure, and grace. America thanks you, Cheryl Johnson.

BREAKING: George Santos admits his life story is a complete fabrication. His pitiful confession should not distract us from concerns about possible criminality and corruption. The Ethics Committee MUST investigate how he made his money. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

In case you're wondering about GOP priorities in the new Congress, a bunch of Oversight Republicans just held a press conference about the investigations they're going to open into the Biden family next year.
Republicans didn't gain control of the House because of the will of the people. Republicans gained control of the House because of extreme gerrymandering and the botched redistricting in NY. If Democrats want to overcome this in 2024, they must start recalibrating now.
