Yes, but these are four-hour duration, useless without outside power generation. Other than peak output, there’s not a great comparison to a (mostly) 24-7 available power source.

The official term is an Atmospheric River, I refer to it as a fire hose and it's aim right at The Pacific Northwest. In the last 24 hours rain amounts include Newport 1.24", Troutdale 1.36" and Portland .73". By Sunday the mighty Columbia River will reach bankfull.
