    Deze week is de nieuwe ingegaan. Eindelijk na de nodige inspanningen van de NVDI is het doorgeven (wederverstrekken) van alcoholhoudende drank gesteld. Het boetebedrag bedraagt 100 euro. Voor alle dhw-ers onder ons: de feitcode is bekend.

    As of July 1, the Alcohol Act replaces the Alcohol Licensing and Catering Act. There are several new regulations. Thanks to the new alcohol law (web)shops cannot discount alcoholic drinks by more than 25% and supermarkets cannot sell hard liquor online.

    It is entirely possible to accept that WHO made an error AND the alcohol industry made the most of that. BOTH of these acts undermined WHO. We can - and should - draw attention to alcohol industry lobbying and press here. At the same time

    Spot on👇🏽 It’s unfortunate some colleagues prioritized virtue signaling & media coverage, thus helped Big Alcohol scandalize WHO and alcohol policy; it’s important to advocate for improvements - which the process is about - but we should not to perpetuate Big Alcohol framings.

    Uitkomst van de persconferentie: bijna alle restricties voor de horeca komen te vervallen per 26 juni as. Ook Clubs & Nightlife mogen, na 15 maanden gesloten te zijn geweest, vanaf volgende week weer open, maar wel mét coronatoegangsbewijzen.
