@sandofsky It’s pretty evident after Sparkle and this that we need a better solution. I really wish the MAS would step up here. -
@olemaedev@sandofsky Pretty sure the Sparkle issue only affect those who ignored the docs and didn’t use SSL for updates. -

@sandofsky@fakebaldur It could still have been sandboxed event tough it isn't distributed via Mac App Store. -
@aslakr@sandofsky True, but developers who aren't distributing via the app store have zero incentives to sandbox. Very many don't bother.
