The placebo effect is definitely real, and can be helpful to give people the psychological edge to overcome illness. But it’s not helpful if you don’t believe the myth.

Oh, hai, you posted screen shots from https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4622101/ … back in 2015. What's the mean age of the sham electroacupuncture group in Table 1? Seems odd. And why is the baseline hot flash frequency so much lower in the sham groups? Seems like a problem with randomization?
