The point of Lambda School isn’t just that you only pay after you’re making /yr. It’s that Lambda *doesn’t* get paid if you don’t get a great job. Passing the bill explicitly to taxpayers is perhaps better than the system in the US, but incentives aren’t aligned at all.

Just saw this in a job post: "You should be comfortable working remotely and communicating asynchronously. We are a Slack-free workplace." Fascinating. Another foot in the door for tools like . cc

When asked me to participate in their upcoming on UX Research, I said, "No dice." But when they threw in this sweet magenta graphic with my face on it, I couldn't say no. I hope you'll join me—please sign up here:

If you’re interested in Jobs To Be Done and/or UX, this discussion between and is really interesting - even gets a bit philosophical at times. Good background listening (not an insult- it’s 3 hours long!):

4 years is required for most accreditation. Accreditation is required for federal Title IV funding. The vast majority of college tuition in the United States is paid for with Title IV funding. “University” status is basically federally-granted cartel.
