I use the word "sentiment" because "racism" can be construed to refer to broad structures of oppression, which making jokes about black people contributes to & making jokes about white people does not. The goblin thing is an ironic joke about how racists talk about black people.

This is just plain incorrect. The West, including the USA is actually heads & shoulders above the rest of the world in tuning for systemic equality. Why won't people acknowledge this? Why spit so ungratefully on the heroic history of American progress since the 50s?
