THIS IS NOT A PLACE OF HONOR. NO HIGHLY ESTEEMED DEED IS COMMEMORATED HERE. NOTHING OF VALUE IS HERE. THIS PLACE IS A MESSAGE AND PART OF A SYSTEM OF MESSAGES. PAY ATTENTION TO IT. WE CONSIDERED OURSELVES A POWERFUL CULTURE

Our systems slack has a private faculty-candidates only channel managed by . I'm told there are over 40 candidates (not all systems), who are coordinating and supporting each other by anonymously sharing where they got interviews etc.

It bothers me that there seem to be so many people on HN who appear to reject social norms related to having published infrastructural Open Source. (E.g.: Even if there’s no warranty or promise of support, if you want to quit, you should refrain from disruptive active action.)
