Are we trying to crush dreams here? It may have happened last generation but it does not necessarily happen to all of this generation or next. It's hard, sure - the all wealth in a few of hands problem needs an answer too, but don't give up!!! P.s. not all success is wealth.

True. It depends on what you mean by the system though. There's a lot at play, and one huge indicator is the absence of male role models for young black men. Rates of marriage also coincide with that. I think focusing on fix that first, and then to root out racism can work!
