They are also just hateful people. As @AdamSerwer said, the cruelty is the entire point
Because anger is an energy, and the only real emotion they've got, it seems. Plus they say money & power doesn't make you happy... it kinda makes you more desperate and paranoid that you're going to lose it.
The ones you hear from and see the most are angry. But that's not most of them. I think most of them follow their tribe. They go along with their family/church/state because it's what they know and they don't want to be excluded by their group.
They are being subjected to hate and lies on a daily basis via Trump, Fox, others. Now they are are all in lockstop to blame dems for everything and play the poor souls.
Bad people get angry when they're defensive. They know we're right and they're pissed that we also kabir that we're right. There's no rational thought to be had.
Add to that: the victories they are piling up don’t actually change their condition or the problems they face. The rich are getting all the benefits. They get silly bragging rights while continuing to live diminished lives.
Because it’s in the interest of media houses and other influence agents to keep them incensed
