Great analysis! In the Intro you write "the overall response rate is 87.6%" - in the table in the methods section you have "Rejection rate" with similar numbers - which one is right?
-
thanks for spotting that; it is actually a typo -- the rejection rate in the report is supposed to be response rate. Now corrected.

What is the difference between "moderate Democrats" and "radical Democrats"? I also would like to know more about what "localists" are.
-
All are pro-democracy supporters; they differ in terms of their approach in fighting for democracy. Moderates seek democracy within the present political framework; progressive try to push the boundaries; localists go out of the framework and seek a new relationship with China.

Thank you for this study, I look forward to reading the detail. Increasingly important now - as every side is disseminating differing narratives - to have well conducted research.

555 participants, 60% under the age of 30, in an environment where older less actively involved individuals had more time to participate. HK youth ARE screwed, but China is the solution, not the problem.

This research just shows the opinions from protestors. You‘d better ask the opinions from other residents in HongKong, especially middle-aged crowd and the elder. A scholarly research should be a systematic process of collecting and analysing data.
