I'm always bad about announcing personal news, but after four and a half years at Gizmodo, next week I'll be joining ! So send me pitches for all the coolest and most interesting tech, and stay tuned for more reviews and stories coming soon.

I love how the Mavs saw what happened to the Lakers when they got Westbrook and they thought "Hey, we should waste assets on a basket case of our own, what could go wrong?"

Here's another pic of the Ayaneo 2 I took with moody lighting. It was a little too dark for the review, but I still think it looks neat.

I found an autonomous noodle soup making machine at CES. It does ramen, but while I was there the machine popped out a bowl of Taiwanese beef noodle soup.

I'm not gonna say CES is dying, but it does feel a little thin in parts. Check out this huge empty space in the middlemog Central Hallnright next to Samsung.

Sony gonna need to rework the name and the design of its car. The Afeela looks worse than the previous concept, its like a off-brand Hyundai Ioniq 6.

Really valuable information: A Cheez-It Bowl representative told me last night that there is no such thing as “Cheez-Its.” One Cheez-It is a Cheez-It. Two or more of the Cheez-It are called “Cheez-It crackers,” not Cheez-Its. You’re welcome.

The backstory is already there! Short Round was inspired by Indy in Temple of Doom to take up archaeology. It's such a natural progression and after Everything Everywhere All at Once Quan proved he has the chops to pull it off.

I know it's hard to believe, but the Quest Pro has set a new bar for what good VR should be. The challenge for Meta though is still trying to convince regular people they need to be in VR in the first place (the enterprise world already gets it).
