White English teacher twitter - and its favourite authors - are really showing their asses over Kate Clanchy, as though because someone gets their students to wrote beautiful poems, they can fetishise & write racist* descriptions of them all they like.
I'll use the term racist as that's the word Kate Clanchy used to describe the descriptions of the children she teaches when she claimed they weren't written by her and did not appear in her book...pic.twitter.com/FqVdrzJgX0
