If we disagree with the political and factual worldview of large groups of people, are we obliged to present ourselves with evidence that our opinion forming process is superior to theirs before we are criticizing their positions? What counts as evidence?

I was being more serious I suppose

Alternative question: "If we disagree with the artistic worldview of large groups of people, are we obliged to present ourselves with evidence that our artistic process is superior to theirs before we are criticizing their positions?"
-
I sense in your question the concept of "real/essential truth" which I find bit too totalitarian/Christian to take too serious. I see human "Truth" as contextual, habitual, temporal.
-
Does that not imply that you should not criticize the different political views of other people, because yours are at best randomly better than theirs?
-
Sure! That is a stance that is appropriate with the wisdom we should acquire in the course of a full life.
