    This application had many iterations and eventually could be run even on a developers local machine... but this approach had many problems.. wxpython needed special bits installed on the machine.. and those with chromebooks could not use it at all. :(

    Recognizing the pain my manager in circa 2008~ wrote a wxpython application which ran on a few machines in the office where people could plug in their phone, press a button and "flash" their device without having to run local commands.

    inline <style> tags in the HEAD of your document force the browser to parse HTML up until that point. While by itself not terrible it does however allow for third-party extensions to inject themselves into the party. (in this case decides to 💩 blocking first paint)

    I agree. A stick of butter vs butter slices every 50ms still is bad. SSR is the first cliff into an uncanny valley of deferred work but degraded UX. The model for client-side applications is not aligned with optimizing for instant hydration (yet). Lots Of Opportunity
